We are looking for a spirited professional looking to explore a career as a Manual tester who has an extreme desire to work closely with senior QA engineers and passionate developers on innovative projects.
Job requirements
- 1+ year of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Perform functional testing for release cycles, by creating/executing test cases, raising defects, and maintaining defect logs
- Thorough understanding of Quality Assurance / Software Testing
- Knowledge in preparing and executing test cases with test scenarios and ensuring minimal bug leakage
- Familiar with bug-reporting tools
- High attention to detail and solid analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Certification in automation (Selenium/J meter/Postman/Appium) will be preferred
- Basic understanding of Database queries
- Experience in scrum meetings and agile methodology
Job responsibilities
- Review the requirements and develop appropriate test cases, to attain 100% test coverage
- Perform Sanity, Functional, System, and Integration Testing in the product to Report defects
- Effective coordination with the team and participation in Scrum meetings
- Ensure participation in Project Planning for task identification, estimation, dependencies, and risk analysis
- Document software defects in an issues tracking system and proactively communicate issues with developers and product managers
- Test artifacts preparation
